2011 Camaro 2LT
Hi guys new to the camaro world and this site i saw the 2010 models and fell in love, I broke down today (didn't take much convincing) and ordered my build through the dealership today of a 2011 2LT in cyber gray with the interior accent trim package. The dealership said it would be 8-10 weeks before i have my car which id perfectly acceptable, My question is, is this accurate what have others seen or expecting? THis willbe the longest 2 months of my life. Thanks for any knowledge!

Yep, about right. I ordered my 2LT on 6/12/10, it got made on 7/23/10, and it is currently on the train on its way to me!! So as long as your dealer has allocation, it should fall within that 8-10 week timeframe. Good Luck!

I ordered mine on 6/24 and hoping it will be built today. From there, 1-3 weeks. The wait is KILLING ME!

Awesome, glad to have you aboard the greatest forum around, C5.. Don't forget, the Oshawa plant was closed the first two weekes of July, but they are back at work and producing Camaros daily. The time will pass quickly my friend (mine took 1 week shy of SEVEN LONG MONTHS).. Keep researching info here. Lots of great people here to help you along the way.
Welcome.. Lori |

Yes that is a good point, I am all to aware of the plants closing in Oshawa. It is why i waited the extra week or so to place my order. I work in the manufacturing Business as a Production Planner, a lot of our Customers and outside processes get sent to plants in Canada and they were all closed the first 2weeks of July some still are. IDK if this will impact "Lead time" of cars the same way it does Aerospace components, if it does though than it will be longer than 10 weeks. LOL |
