Guessing you got that Black CTS-V's tranny back together after it broke at F-ville a month ago? Seemed like a nice guy even though he kept on insisting he was on a stock converter cutting 1.30 short times....

Have you got your G8 back together yet?

I am, but unfortunately I do not think my converter will be installed in time. Don't think 1.9 60' times aren't going to impress.

The V is back together and should be doing some testing this weekend at the track. Rented the track Sunday......

How long will F-ville stay open for? Is it more or less depending on the weather. Their web site doesn't have much going forward from this point.
I liked running there despite the 4 hr drive.

Cal Hartline has gone 1.28 short times with stock converter and blower. The converter isn't a limitation like you'd think.

That car is on a stock converter and so am I and I've pulled 1.38 60fts out of my ZL1. You must not know much about the 6l90e trannys or converters.

Your right and I could care less about automatics in general. But when you have the amount of money sunk in a CTS-V like this guy did and own a tranny shop as he claimed I would think the tranny and converter would be a no brainer.... Congrats to you on your 60'

Hmmm you seem to think you know enough to claim he was lying about his stock converter....
It's a "no brainer" to someone like you that doesn't have the car or worked with these trannys. Bottom line is they work and a hell of a lot better than any manual for that matter.
