Just got done powder coating and installing my Fastlane CAI. Thanks Mark at ZZ Motorsports and Amanda at Fastlane. Also, special thanks to my buddy Tommie ( AKA Pisser ) for the install help.

That looks really sick. I'm getting the EXACT same car as you. IOM with gfx, very legit look.

What did you do on the bottom of the hood? Is that a mirror?

I cut out a piece of SS to match the inlay and then powdercoated with a mirror like finish. The cut out a smaller bowtie, powder coated that to match the intake and had my personalized Lic plate engraved in it.

Looks good. Is the CAI plastic or metal? Where is the air filter and is it wet or dry? AND.... how much for the intake?

How long did it take to install and how difficult was it? Looks like it routes down to the front.

Where does it pull the air from? It that a CAI or the RAM AIR intake that I was reading about. Looks like the RAM AIR one to me...

It does have a Ram-Air effect because of where the filter is mounted near the lower airdam

With a little creativity and some materials it could become ram air, thats a nice platform.

Its Aluminum that was powdercoated. Its a Dry AEM Filter. It does route down where the stock windshield wiper fluid bottle was located. It does have a ram air affect. Fastlane did put it on the Dyno and they said 20HP at the rear. I am trying to locate a Dyno in Central IL. If anyone knows of one, please let me know. Cost was around $500, come's with everything to install. I got it from Mark at ZZ motorsport. I think there are several colors to choose from.

Install was pretty simple, took about 1hr to 1.5hrs I wasn't in a big hurry and it was 95 degree's yesterday in Chicago, so I wasn't moving to fast. But if you can handle a wrench and screw driver. You can knock this out real easy.

Did it come with the new window washer reservoir or did you get that yourself?

20HP to the wheels...seems like a little much for a CAI...
