Awesome Car Jerry,
I have done a few things you are doing, CAI, LT Headers, HF Cats, a cam, underdrive pulley and a GMPP street version exhaust which I will be changing as soon as the Borla ATAK comes in along with a MGW shifter. I am currently pushing around 450 rwhp and she is a blast. I would seriously think about the S/C alot of things go into that, for me right now I will stay where I am at since I would have to change alot of things. I have done a few cosmetic things like splash guards, Heritage grille with SS, rear bowtie delete with SS and a few other little things. BTW I love the color, John |

John,
Whats the gain or advantage of an underdrive pulley?? I might go ahead and do the cam with LTH, hi flo cats, and x pipe. Thanks for the input, Jerry

Jerry,
I am not exactly sure of the HP gained but with the combo I have I get around 450. I have GREAT drivabilty in all ranges. At 3000 if you stomp it she feels like she will let the back in loose but doesn't. Has alot of torque. When I picked her up from the shop in Ga, I drove 73 and averaged 27.9 mpg, once I hit the Bama state line I drove 60 and averaged 29.9, which I thought was awesome on a 450 hop car. I thought about a S/C which would increase me to 600 rwhp but I would have to add alot of things according to people on this forum like catch can, upgrade the fuel pump. I have even been told to truly get the use out of 600rwhp that I would probably need to upgrade the suspension. This would probably be another 10 to 15 k. If you aren't going to drag it I think a cam , headers, cai, pulley, tune would be fine and it won't break the bank. Vengeance Racing in Cummings , Ga did mine and it turned out great. They have ordered me a MWG shifter and as soon as the Borla ATAK arrives they will be installing both, then they are going to do a video and post it here which I think will help out alot of people. My cam is not real big but you can tell it is there. If you would like talk with Ron at Vengeance and tell him I sent you and he will take care of you. |

ron@vengeancerd.com Here is there contact information. Ron can probably better explain the benefits of the underdrive pulley better than I can. |

Thanks for the info. I was either going to go with them or MTI. Where are you located in Bama?? I would love to hear your car so I could get an idea about what I want to do to mine. Again thanks for the help. Jerry

I went with Vengeance because of the way they treated me not to mention they were cheaper. There shop is spotless and their staff is great, more than willing to answer any questions you may have.
I live in Oxford, and You. As soon as the exhaust comes in I will post the video's. I realized that 450 is good enough for me, 600 would be nice but I would be doing it for bragging since I do not race and If I want to brag why not 1000, lol. I guess I am just getting to old. LOL |

Eufaula.
What stage cam do you have, or what are the specs on it?? I'm looking at either a stage 1 or 2. And did you buy a package from them or did you just buy the individual parts??
