Me too... Mike did an L99 with those specs and similar mods to produce around 450 but that was without a stall. Hoping for that, but expecting less which I am perfectly fine with... I am not numbers hunting. Just excited for the performance and looking forward to a good lope.

My buddy with Livernois stage 1B cam, Kooks 1 7/8 Rotofab CAI 3200 Yank on stock tires did 11.95 at Byron Dragway. He was getting 1.8 60' times with no suspension mods. He's around 430 rwhp, and into the 11s.

Yea, there is no debating what the stall can do for you on the strip... I don't know how much I will be hitting the strip until I can change out the gears and replace the axle though.

In my experience, the 3200 TC was great for the track and not the street. While technically the torque is still there, the car becomes "loose" in the low end because it revs quickly to 3200. So it "feels" like your losing on the low-end, when you're really not, BUT... "feel" is an important, real factor for daily driving, which is another top factor for you.

I "cancelled out" the rev happy 3200 TC (which worked great for me at the strip, but I disliked for daily driving) by adding 3.45 gears (the whole pumpkin swapped from an M6). IOW, it helped the car bemuch more responsive on the street.

So, from what you're telling us, I would go with gears before a TC, IF the cam you choose allows it. 3.45's (easy swap from an M6) or 3.70/73's. Or maybe gears and a lower stall TC (Jannetty's 2600/2800?). Either way, gears would really help your low-end. The TC will help more at the track, but you're not out to set records, and a car you love driving around town is what will make you happy. In fact, you may try gears BEFORE you do the cam. I do think you'd like it.

Just some more thoughts. Padre
My tuner told me the same thing about the gears, he stated that I should do the LT Headers and then gears for the most "kick in the pants" rush.

I already ordered the LT's but know nothing about the gears. What does the job entail and how much would doing the gears cost me?

You're going to love driving it after the cam, the new found power is great.

I was going to get my tune dialed in but I screwed up when I had the phaser tables loaded and didn't return the tune to stock before I sent out the PCM so I sent out the SCT tuner to have it unlocked so I can start from scratch.
