ARH Shortie Headers Pick Up Huge Gains For Turbo Builds
Jeremy at Power Fab Automotive recently installed our ARH Shorty Headers on a customer’s twin turbo Gen 5 Camaro. Jeremy’s standard TT kit was designed using factory cast iron manifolds, but Jeremy decided to put ARH Shorties to the test for a back to back comparison. While it would seem logical that the headers would increase power by spooling the turbo more efficiently, Jeremy was shocked with the performance results. Without any other changes, the Gen 5 picked up +38RWHP / +74RWTQ at peak! Gains throughout the RPM range were even greater where HP increased by 70 between 4000-5000. There was absolutely no change to the tune in back to back testing. As a direct replacement for the manifolds, the swap was quick and easy. The results were no surprise to the ARH team. The best part is that ARH Shorties are made using the highest quality 304 S/S allowing them to withstand high boost applications. They are also 50 State Legal.

It’s just a matter of time!” - Jeremy Cozad PowerFab Automotive |

I've always thought that the exhaust before the turbo's doesn't matter that much. Interesting.

I can vouch for this, while we didn't do a side by side comparison they easily supported Bull's 1280 rwhp in his 5th Gen SNL Performance built. The car made over 1,000 rwhp on 20 psi and pump gas/meth.
These headers are a fantastic addition to those doing turbo kits, great job ARH! |

Yes, the Turbonetics kit uses stock manifolds.

These are direct replacements for stock manifolds, so as long as whatever turbo kit you're running is currently bolted to stock manifolds they will bolt right in place without any issue.

That's awesome gains but I'm not buying the no retune needed. anything that is adding power is going to need to be accounted for
