I GOT REAR ENDED

so im driving my camaro last week minding my own buisness when all of a sudden i get rear ended... by a wall!!! at first i wanted to but then just got really . so heres how it went down, i was backing up slowly just barely letting my foot off the brake when i hit. it was late at night and with the window tint i really couldnt see much. it didnt help that i hit the corner of the wall. i saw a wall over my left sholder about 20' behind and another over my right about 15' behind. so its not like i didnt see the whole wall, its just that i didnt see it stick out. im waiting on my camera so i can take pictures(my gf has it). its not really noticible but i still wanna fix it. i was reading that most of the pre-ordered camaros that ordered the gfx get to keep their stock pannels. if this is true, is there anyone that has a stock rear air defuser (the plastic panel with the tailpipes)for the ss? i cant find the part anywhere. i have been looking at all the front end collision post and keep thinking, "what if one of these guys sold me their rear bumper?" so again i wanna get it fixed but as of right now im just brainstorming possible ways of doing it.

You can proabably get most of it out, but the diffuser is done. There is a noticable dent in the rear bumper too, but its not that bad and will probably be hard to see with some good ole buffing and spit shine.

I have back up sensors in my explorer and I hit a post....hard as a sum bitch too I might add. I didnt see it at all so I backed up kinda fast and hear a beep for like a 1/10th of a second then BOOM. HEAD SHOT. I was so pissed at myself. So yeah it happens.

I clobbered a concrete light-post in my Lexus last year. Trust me, the back-up sensors aren't all they're cracked up to be. No pun intended. And no one ever believes you that they just didn't work that time, lol.

Sorry about your mishap; I know that awful, sinking feeling and it sucks.

If you call the parts department at any GM dealership, ask for the part number for the rear defuser. Then go on to www.gmpartsdirect.com, enter the part number in the "search" box and the part should be there much much cheaper than any dealer would sell you. I got the lower front grill for $36 compared to the $63 the dealer was trying to charge.
