Lightbulb Halos - Cool Little Tidbit

This may not be very exciting (or even new to some), but it's just something that I thought I'd share

I love to have my halos on, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I originally had a concern about leaving them on (when parked, etc), wondering how much power they use and stuff... but it turns out this is no problem at all. If you leave the halos on when you leave your car, they turn off automatically after a while (I think maybe 10 mins? ). As if that weren't awesome enough... they come back on the next time you turn the car on So it seems that the car remembers your headlight settings, and also turns them off automatically if you forget to.

Good stuff

you also don't have to turn the AC off before restarting the car in fear of overstressing it's components... lol

I do the same thing. I leave the switch on the "halo" setting. The HID's kick in automatically as soon as it gets dark.

Huh.

If I leave my lights on auto, the parking lights (and halos) are NOT on. But jonly come on in a tunnel garage or when it gets dark. How do you do this?

Agreed... I have to turn my headlights on manually when I need them. Otherwise, the halos stay on. If you use the "Auto" setting, the halos only come on with the headlights, and only when it's dark enough... until then, only the fog lights are on

Click over to the right one notch on the headlight control and just the halo's will come on while the center HID light stays un lit.
