Help with possible defect?

Got a brand new Sierra 1500, and theres this wierd spot on the drivers rear door, that is surrounded by a much larger less noticable spot where there seems to be a difference in color. I dont know how to tell if this is on top of or under the clear. Hard to capture but here are some pics, any help is appreciated

Hard to tell from the pic, but is it a hot spot from a rotary polisher?

Clear coat anomaly....I doubt you can polish it out....see if it is affected by a hand application of Meguires scratch-x 2.0.....

I have some Adams “Swirl and Haze Remover” on hand, will that work the same as Scratch X?

I can't tell from the pics my eyes suck.

You might try a clay bar first and then hand apply the Adam's.

Does your fingernail catch in it? If so, it's etching in the clearcoat, possibly from a bird bomb that sat on the surface, if not, it's likely haze where someone used compound by hand and didn't finish it down. If so the Adams should remove it.

Gotta love black, it shows EVERYTHING!
