I know we can't see the hood real well ,but I'm not really feeling it at this point. I will however reserve judgement until the real deal is out. I'm about ready to abort at this point and just get a convertible. I'm getting too old for this much power anyhow.

I get that the pictures come from a "spy photographer" what I don't get is who let them get so close to the car and take pictures willy nilly??? I mean if this is some top secret tester, you would think security would be tighter than just letting some random person walk up and snap some shots while the hood is open??

they're allowing people to take pictures so the hype can build. it's not by mistake we have seen a clear succession in the pictures. first an entirely camoed front on that white one a WHILE back. then the gt500 testing, then some camo is shed, then this. It's all for a reason. I suspect the final "unveiling" will come early 2011. Don't take my word for it, though

Why would they use a less efficient blower, rather than a more efficient blower that gets the same horsepower as the bigger one?

Have you seen some of the lenses that Brenda Priddy and Chris Doane use? They have zoom lenses that make stuff that's a mile away look like you're standing next to it.

There's an article here:

http://abcnews.go.com/Business/newes...8353139&page=1

about how Brenda Priddy gets her shots. You can see one of her foot long lenses in the second pic on the story.

Does anyone think they may go back to the red "performance" bowtie for the Z/28? Bumble Bee has one. Unless there is some change to the badging, I don't see the point in covering it up. My 5 year old would know that was a Camaro badging or no.

if you follow vehicles at all you know its all marketing and such. all cars start heavily camoed and by the time they are ready to be revieled for real we have basically seen everything. they strip away layers, get people excited and talking. and they have crazy lenses as others have talked about so this is all very normal stuff

HOLY CRAP! YAY!
Well mabey I should reserve judgement though, I WANT FORGED INTERNALS FOR MY BOTTOM END! I may just have to buy a USED 2010 2SS RS and do an engine swap! Don't think for one second I wouldn't do that!
:P lol

Look how dusty and dirty that engine bay is, hope they use some kind of filter on those scoops to keep that out.

the vents look like they are for heat to help cool the blower not for cold air induction.

I have known that and you know that. Its just funny that its out in the open and people are wondering what it looks like.

I still say after looking at those scoops..its just to get air in while the cover is on the hood..but it might be in the final product but Im just speculation.

I can see that making its way onto my car.
You might keep up on a straightaway or drag strip, but not so much on any street or roadcourse that has turns...unless you put a lot of money into aftermarket suspension stuff, and by that time you will have already paid for a new Z/28 (but you won't have the spankin' new warranty to go with it). No disrespect meant by the way.

Do you guys honestly think that GM isn't going to heavily revise/upgrade the suspension components as well...you know, to actually take advantage of the additional horsepower?
