1LE rear differential on regular SS

Will the 1le diff bolt right up in place of my SS manual trans rear diff?

Sweet thanks.
Was originally planning on doing the 3.91 ring and pinion install (at a shop) but it seems like it would be a better deal to buy a low mile 1le diff, getting it swapped out and just selling my current diff.
Do you know if the 1Le axles will bolt right up or do I need the hubs and stuff too?

Yep
It's simpler for the guy in the driveway to swap diffs than gears for sure.

What about the 2014 1LE diff?
I'm possibly buying one. You are saying that will bolt right up with no additional parts?
Thanks

Where did you purchase a 1le diff from? I'm looking to do the same mod.

Hello I have 2010 2ss/rs. Does anyone know if a 2014 1le 391 diff will swap out with my 345 diff using my stock 2010 axles and hardware ?

A 1LE diff is no different than the diff on any other SS except that it has 3.91 gears inside. Regardless of year it will bolt right up to a LS3 and L99 SS without any additional changes. However, the dealership will not calibrate your speedo and GM will not warranty it. If you want that then you have to do the gear swap into your diff.

Ok thanks for the info. I didn't want to get my diff out and go to put the 1le diff in and find out that my axles and mounts and all wouldn't fit it ! That would ruin a weekend.

An only difference in the 1LE axles is that the outer CV joint is larger same hubs/and spline count. Now the true 1LE/ZL1 hub bearings themselves are bigger but still works with SS axles.
