So i like the Hotchkis TVS but its a little pricey! i can just wait and get it or is there another that is just as good that is more reasonable?? i want springs, sways, possible chassis brace and a tower brace.

We recently picked up Pfadt Race Engineering and have really been impressed with their products and the way they perform. Here is a video of the Pfadt Sport Suspension Package in action compared to stock. The cool part is that the Sport Package is just the tip of the iceberg. We have a package capable of 1.4G+.

I'm on the fence on this as well.

Pfadt seems like the way to go, but I'm still not sure.

I have no idea what I need to buy anyway!

First you need to identify what your ulimate goal is. Are you building your car for aggressive street use or will you be taking it to the track? Drag or autocross? Once that is nailed down, the answer to what you need is pretty easy.

Well, I guess what I would be looking at is primarily street use and very occasionally (maybe) an autocross track day. Some spirited mountain driving out in the desert goes without saying also.

I have never done an autocross before so I have ZERO experience with it.

*edit, I also want to lower my car 1-1.25" for visual appeal as well as performance.

We have a very large invetory of Pfadt products IN STOCK. We have installed literally dozens of different manufacturer's kits on Gen5 Camaros and they all seem to get mixed feedback except for Pfadt.

I won't try to pursued you to one manufacturer from another but we just got this email from a very satisfied Camaro owner:

"Good morning. I just wanted you to know that the Camaro looks, sounds, and feels awesome! I have owned a 96 Corvette, 96 Viper GTS, and a 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 (Viper truck), but they all pale in comparison to my Camaro."

This installation was completely outfitted with the Pfadt suspension products. And my personal preference after driving all of the systems out there, Pfadt seems to have found the perfect balance between street and track. Their product handles amazing and still retains much of the ride comfort that a true enthusaist looks for.

I was the crew chief on a Corvette/Mustang race team for 5 years and can tell you from experience that these parts are some of the best engineered products I have seen!

So all of this and NOT ONE warranty concern to date....... OK, so I guess I am trying to pursued you

Pedders offers some great drop coils with 2 to choose from for the rear. OUr sway bars include signficiantly HD adjustable end links.

You should save your money on bracing, and upgrading some of the bushings instead. You will get a bigger bang for your buck. Here are some bushings to upgrade that are easy to do
EP6578 CAMARO Front Radius Rod STIFFENING SNUBBERS (new)
EP1200 Zeta II Rear Extreme Sub-Frame Connector Kit

Now these units may not be the perfect match for you since we offer 3 versions of the front radius rod and rear subframe bushings.

To assist you to perfection, would need some info like rear hp, driving habits, goals, potential future upgrades, ets.

Here are the p/ns for our drop coils and sway bar kits. The drop will be approx 1 inch.
220032 "Camaro 2009 Front drop Coils & Ride Height with 20"" Wheels at 657mm

220033 Camaro 2009 Rear Drop Coils & Ride Height with 20" Wheels at 660mm
CAMAROSOLUTIONB 27MM FR. & REAR BARS WITH 4 ADJUSTABLE ENDLINKS Larger HD end links require enlarging mounting holes.

The lowest hanging fruit on a 5th gen would be rear sub-frame bush inserts (Pedders EP1200) followed by the front radius bush inserts (EP6578). You will find your 5th Gen to be far more stable and predictable. You can do these individually or as a package in a Street I.

Add lowering coils and you have a great handling, great looking 5th gen for about $700.
