I told my boss, and he asked me why I was still standing there.

I told him I needed Friday off, and he understands :-P I will be leaving work extra early tomorrow. The dealer said I can't pick it up until 5:30.

Dealer is Herb Connolly in Massachusetts

Somehow I've got to sit here for the next 9 1/2 hours @ work until I pick my car up this evening. This is going to be difficult to say the least

My want to leave early to lessen the stress. I had to do the same thing and I was going nuts. Couldn't concentrate all I could see was my car. My work suffered that day

OK I'll try to kill some time for you. What town is Herb Connally in. How'd you do buying at msrp? Did they whack you with any upcharges? What did you get LT? SS? What options RS? M6 or Auto? Color?

I ordered and bought mine at Durand Chev. in Hudson. These guys were great...msrp and stood by it to the end, no upcharges, no added stuff I didn't need or want, no BS. Kept me updated weekly during the build. Called me when the truck pullled in with my car. I can't say enough good things about Durand, A+ dealer in my book.

Well, honestly, the Camaro was sort of a whim of the moment purchase for me. I had always wanted a nice sports car (that I could afford), so I had been looking at random Mazda 3's, BMW 1 series, etc. Saw the concept Camaro and loved it.

Was in Framingham one weekend and saw Herb Connolly dealership sitting there. Decided to drop in and see how much the Camaro would cost etc. I ended up leaving with a 1K dollar deposit. They promised MSRP, and that was enough for me. I've always been rather luck and never dealt with a complete jerk for a dealership. I picked some random options and left. My salesman was Paul Santoro. I received all of this in writing.

Found this website the very same day, and registered. Research my options and found the colors thread, and picked my final choices. Emailed Paul with the options I wanted changed, he advised me that my choices were ridiculous (Orange on Orange) but changed them anyway for me. My final order specs were 2SS/RS Auto, IOM/IOM (with Black Rally Stripe).

Throughout the next 3 months, I would have to pry the information out of them. Their ordering manager never dealt with employee's directly, and my salesman was almost clueless about the order process or tracking. I don't blame him, and I wont say he's a bad salesman, he's just not computer savvy. He was extremely surprised when I told him my car had arrived via Rail. He couldn't believe I had access to the railcar number, etc. I had to laugh a bit

However, as soon as my car arrived he called me, and emailed me twice. Very quick in that response. I guess we'll find out if he honors the original price on my order sheet, and since my pre-approved check is price locked, it better not be any higher, haha. However, their dealerrating.com rating is one of the highest in MA. So I can't see them doing something stupid for a quick buck.

Thanks for the distraction
