Crowley

We will have 2 versions,1 race version and 1 street version.Race version pulls air from the front of the car and street version pulls air from under the car.

Sharp looking piece.

Did you do anything other than remove the washer fluid reservoir to improve airflow into the cavity?

Hi Andy,

What CAI do you recommend with the Maggie?

Could you use this one and relocate the washer bottle?

Street version retains water bottle and uses a smaller filter.

Race version has additional piping that runs to the lower grill area to allow fresh air to the filter box.

More pics coming soon.

Do you have both the race and street version to test or currently just the race version? And just to make sure I understand, the street version won't have the piping that goes to the lower grill?

thanks,
Crowley

Outstanding. I was probing around in that area when I was removing my washer fluid reservoir and noticed that there was really no air that was directed into the cavity. Removing the reservoir creates an 'opening'...but the front air damn likely causes air to 'pass right by'. What I don't understand is why the plastic piece behind the air damn essentially blocks air from the lower grill from getting into the area. I debated cutting the end off to allow air in...but ultimately decided I'll replacing my current CAI.

Here is some new data regarding the ADM Perf cold air on a totally stock 2SS Man. Basically the car picked up a peak of plus 18 HP and plus 18 TQ. The dyno graph #1 baseline is totally stock. Runs #2 and #3 are with the cold air. All three runs were on factory tune. This cold air retains the factory wiper reservoir in the factory location which is slightly different than the one installed on Andy's LS-7 that has it removed. He has a couple more tweeks to do to his CAI box as the one installed today is a prototype. Andy took pics and said he will uplink them later today for all to see.
