so, most people that pre-ordered the car seem to be paying MSRP. but what about those that wanna go buy one after the launch? the new 370z has only been out for two weeks or so and you can already get it for well below MSRP. do you think the same will happen to the camaro or is the hype/demand too big? let's concentrate on the V6 for now, we know (at least since the update a few days ago) that the V8 will probably not be priced below MSRP. do you think that maybe because of the current state of the economy etc prices might go down sooner rather than later?

the hype is definitely there, but the market for sports cars is obviously a bit lower than normal (for right now). aside from the economy, the 370 ain't gonna be a hot seller in the middle of the winter... i have no clue why they released a car like that at this time of year. most people store their nice cars during the bad weather. by the spring, i assume the prices will go back up on them. the V6 camaro will probably stay around MSRP for a while unless they ain't moving units.
