How much fluid did you lose? With the car on, pump the clutch pedal 6 or 7 times while leaving the shifter in neutral

Feels as though the cylinder is drawing on a vacuum when you try to pull the pedal away from the floor and the springs of the pedal are the only thing allowing it to return to the top

No luck. Looks like it dumped more.

Next question: is this something typical of these cars, or is this a fluke? I know I've read about a clutch sticking problem.

Ended up towing back to my garage. Going to call up my local dealer and see if I can get a warranty claim on it.
Any advice from you guys on how to tip toe around this one, or is it the crap-shoot i'm expecting?

This happened to me when my slave cylinder went out. The slave cylinder is specifically included in the warranty.

Even with extensive modifications?
Obviously this type of failure of the fluid power system is not directly related to the power level, however i'm sure they'll try to pitch that. Hopefully when I tell them I smelled friction discs glazing up as I limped off of the street I'll get a new clutch too. Thanks Again Guys!
