Key fob recall

Well, got my recall taken care of today.
It was a painless experience and was in and out in 15 minutes.
Thanks to Sarah at Southworth Chevrolet in Bloomer.

I got my recall notice in the mail today, before I could finish reading the description about how if you "happen to be 6'9 and sit weird, their is a small chance you could knock the key out of run....", I crumpled it up and threw it in the trash. love my switchblade and will be keeping it!

glad to see the dealer took good care of you though.

Hey nelsont what does the new key and fob look like? I'm debating on taking mine on I like the switch blade key! Did they give you an option to keep it as a spare at all or just gotta hand em over?

Just keep the switchblade. I don't understand the whole, "I gotta do what I am told" mentality...

same, I just got the recall notice in the mail.
Do you have to make the change? I like the swithblade key.
I was reading where people say to keep one swithblade key, But will it work after the change?

Hand them over!
Key fob locks no different- minus the blade.

The new key looks nice=imo
nice black rubberize head matches the fob nicely.
