Z51 Vette may be clue toward Z/28 price

http://ls1tech.com/articles/2014-cor...t-3-8-seconds/

So the performance specs for the Z51 Stingray are out and the price is just a little over $56K. I think it would be tough to justify a Z/28 over $65K based on this but who knows...

A highly optioned ZL-1 Camaro sells for around 60K....Z/28 will be "most expensive Camaro yet"....don't think 'Vettes have much to do with it...

I don't think the Stingray will even be close in the handling/track readiness department. I see your point but the only category that the Stingray has a chance of winning is acceleration. It is an impressive performance bargain but expect the Z/28 to be on another level.

Does that include a COPO? If so wouldn't the Z's price be around 100k?

Especially since the 1LE already looks to match the Z51 in the handling department. With that being said I expected the new C7 to exceed some of the C6 performance numbers by a bigger margin.

I just love these posts of hope.

Price of the Z/28 has as much to do with Corvette pricing as it has to do with Sonic pricing.
