Washer Fluid Indicator

I have a 2LT with all of toys. I just noticed today that there is no indicator on the DIC for low windshield washer fluid. Is this correct or did they omit this for some reason. I typically get new (GM) cars every few years and everyone since 1994 had a indicator for low washer fluid. According to the manual it will give warnings to let you know your turn signal is burned out, but no washer fluid indicator???

Don't Quote me on this because i have no camaro to look at right now....but i THINK it SHOULD pop up in the DIC saying Low Washer Fluid.... if i remember correctly thats what my 06 Trailblazer does. Kind of like when i have low fuel and it won't leave me alone about popping up on the DIC every 5 min.

Yes my Grand Prix's, Envoy, and Saturn all did that, but this thing doesn't. Just trying to determine if the left it out, or if it is broke.

Other sites I've seen, including cars.com say it has a washer fluid indicator. I guess someone can siphon it out and see what happens if they really wanted to know.

Check your owners manual. It should explain.
Good Luck!

I do not have my SS with me but I vaguely remember seeing this in the owner's manual. I believe there is a warning light in the speedometer face for this.

I have one on my car now, but I've never run it out of washer fluid. Who knows, it might not even work. I guess I won't miss it much!

The owners manual does not mention it anywhere. It was out of fluid , and it never came on. Someone else PMed me and confirmed they had the same issue. Has anyone else besides "Ladyz28" seen it come on yet?

have you seen the wiper reservoir ? I think it holds 40 gallons, should last for the life of the vehicle.

1LT RS, I have run out and no warning light I do was very disappointed. Especially since this is a daily driver trough snowy winters.

Ladyz28, You couldn't possibly have seen it on your DIC since the Camaro doesn't have a low washer fluid indicator on it. The only wires going to the washer fluid reservoir are a hot and ground to the pump. No other wires.
