Arizona Man Sentenced for Shooting His Car

Published : Thursday, 07 Jul 2011, 9:23 AM MSTKINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) — A Kingman man is going away for 90 days after shooting his Camaro after the car refused to start and then refusing to come out of his home.
The Kingman Daily Miner reports Lauriano Lawrence Lovato went out to his car April 13, and when it wouldn't start, he fired two rounds through the windshield and into the dashboard.
Neighbors called police, and Lovato was eventually arrested after a lengthy standoff.
Lovato pleaded guilty to one count of discharging a gun unlawfully within city limits and was sentenced to three years probation and 90 days jail time.

Wow, too bad he didn't shoot his car in Florida. They let you kill people and spend less than 90 days in jail.

Well contrary to Mr. Party pooper.. I thought it was extremly funny, and very relevant. I just drove through Kingman 2 weeks ago on the way back from Vegas to Tucson. With trigger happy people like that around, I'm glad my Camaro had the hammer down, and kept on rolling. 90 days does seem excessive.. but then again.. he didnt just shoot his car.. he shot a Camaro!! Um.. Death Sentence anyone? Who's with me? Get me the Governor on the phone.. lets make this happen ASAP!!

I don't believe in the death sentence in this case. Make him drive a Mustang for LIFE!
