370HP High?

Just wondering how accurate there dyno numbers sound...im having a Vortech installed and they did a before Dyno on a Dynojet and came up with 370HP, this is on a LS3 with K&N typhoon CAI and exhaust cut outs opened, im right around sea level and it was about 75 degrees.

With mods, 370HP seems slightly low. Most bone stock dyno numbers I've seen have been around 365HP, give or take a few.

Sounds about right, maybe +/- 5 hp. We know that cai dont do that much and vary slightly and cut-outs are just for sound.

You're putting on a Vortech, why worry about the before numbers?? You will forget all about them after the s/c

Good luck

Don't think he's worried about his before #'s as much as getting a baseline for how much he gains after that S/C is installed

L99 A6 (315 - 330 rwhp on average) depending on the dyno used.
LS3 M6 (350 - 380 rwhp on average) depending on dyno used.

Some dynos are a lot more generous than others.

Last Saturday mine was on the Dyno at Vengeance in Cumming GA.

LS3 / M6 386 hp / 386 tq. 12.980 @110.81 DA @2300 ft, spinning pretty bad.

Mods: Solo cats, 2 1/2 x pipe with flowmasters, Hypertech tune (which I don't think did squat. Car picked up @ 1/2 of 1 MPH trap speed in 1/4)
