Thanks in part to lots of great comments that you guys gave on my other thread, I drove my new Camaro off the lot at 4:04pm tonight!

You guys were awesome, thanks so much! The rally stripes will be put on next week and I will show you all pics then when it's done. (ok, ok I know with the mod bug it'll never be done but you know what I mean)

I put 50 miles on her this evening and each 1/10th of a mile was better than the last. It was AMAZING!!! Like.. Mind blowing amazing! And let me tell you, the very 1st time I stopped at a red light and in looking over I saw the guy in the civic next to me tracing every line of the Camaro with his eyes with this salivating type look on his face?? Well, I had this giddy, schoolboy, crazy excited feeling all over. My grin would have made the cheshire cat look like he was frowning!

Thanks! I bought a 2011 1SS/RS, silver ice metallic with a sun roof and with 12k miles on her, and I'm having them put black Rally stripes on the front and back. As I said, I will post the pics next week as soon as the stripes are on and she is "done" at least done insofar as what I purchased from the dealer.

I was real close to just buying a 2013 2LT but thanks, in no small part, to the other thread I had started, I realized that I really DID want the V8 and the dealership, much like the godfather, made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I have wanted a Camaro since I was 10 years old.. I'm giddier than a kid on x-mas..

Congrats!! I had wanted one since I was 12 and it took me 20 years to get there so I an relate... It feels great! Enjoy that baby to the fullest and don't forget to share her pretty face with us.
