For those of you that have requested a ZL1 Certificate and haven't received it please see the e-mail below that I received from Chevrolet this week. My original request was sent on November 4th...........

Dear Rick,

Thank you for contacting the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center. We appreciate the time you have taken in writing us regarding your request for a Camaro ZL1 Certificate.

We understand your enthusiasm and we truly apologize for the delay. Upon checking on your request, we have found out that our processes have been recently updated and the certificates for 2014 vehicles will not begin to go out until mid-April. Once it has been sent out, it will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks for you to receive the certificate in the mail. We hope for your patience and understanding.

We hope that we were able to address your inquiry. If you should need to contact us in the future, simply reply to this message or call our Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center at 1-800-222-1020. Customer Relationship Specialists are available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Eastern Time.

Again, thank you for contacting Chevrolet.

Sincerely,

The Chevrolet Consumer Support Team

Still Nothing...... Darn postal workers, hmmm is that an oxymoron, anyway, gotta blame somebody. Maybe GM uses a different calendar. Wonder if these certificates are on the "Recall" list......

Just requested mine!

I just bought my 2013 a few weeks ago and after I got it home, thanks to this forum I found out about the spring spacers that are supposed to be removed. They were not and the front valance panels were not put on. (they were in the trunk in a bag). I called the dealership to chew them out for not taking the spring spacers out, telling me about the break in period, not installing front valance panels etc... I thought I would ask if they sent in for the CERTIFICATE. To no surprise they did not know anything about a CERTIFICATE.

It's not something the dealership has to send for.

I purchased and took delivery my 2014 mid march. Had no idea about the cert till i saw this thread. I saw above that the 2014 certs will be mailed out mid april with a 4-6 week delivery. Should i wait and see if i get it or should request one now? Also probably a stupid question but from looking at pictures of the certs i did not see the production # listed. How did you guys find out what number your car was. I am assuming it's in the VIN but not sure where.
