True, but if the flashes are stock GM CVN flashes, then it does not necessarily raise the flag. You see, dealers will often flash for TSBs so it's not uncommon to see more than one flash. The warranty guys are looking for non-stock CVNs, not the number of flashes.

I certainly don't want to get in to a debate over this because if anyone want to play they should not expect GM to foot the bill.

If a Dealer looks at the Flash counter and compares it to all the flashed in GMs data Base they WILL KNOW it has been flashed.

They will also See the CVN numbers that were generated by the Custom Tune File.

So to summarize they can see how many times it has been flashed and if it WAS a factory authorized tune file or not.
