Here are some pic of the mounting. I straightened the bracket to just a L shape so it would mount correctly and ran the hoses where they are not so obvious. I mounted the can to the bracket and then mounted the bracket and can to the frame area. There are 2 threaded holes on the frame the exact size of the bolt supplied. I used the outer threaded bolt hole as my mounting point. Use a lock washer on the bottom bolt so it does not loosen up. I have had this car on the drag strip and daily driving. It works great in this mounting area and is not so obtrusive to the engine bay.

Well probably cant tell by the bad phone pic but it is actually the ZL1 bracket. I just straightened the long part of the L. I was going to mount it like everyone else but did not like the way it looked so I straightened the long L part of the bracket and used it in the way I described. Works great!

You can have all the baffles in the world, but if you do not get the air oil to cool the oil will stay suspended. The engine itself have baffles and that does not stop it because it is hot. I have worked with a breather can for aircraft and we keep it in the airstream to cool it. We only use them to keep the belly clean ( no closed system) but the cost $1000 because of FAA approval. The place I put it is a fairly cooler place compared and the lines are longer than the original mounting position. For got to mention you will need to go buy about 3 feet of extra hose as well. This spot seems to work really well and is out of the way and the only extra parts needed other than the kit that is bought is 3 feet of hose.

The RX can uses a 3 chamber 4 step process, and the cooling/condensing is the last step after the large coalescing chamber separates 90-95% of the oil first. Cooler is always beeter, but look at pictures of the inside workings of the RX system to see.....nothing like it on the market, and the vapors travel app 14" from inlet to outlet never mixing with the oil laden vapors entering....nost cans are 1-2" max that the vapors travel and the spearated and dirty vapors constantly mix.
