Mine is a 6 point. An 8, 10 or 12 point requires the extra mounting at the front for faster cars.
I do not remove it. I bought a removable in case I sell the car or put it back closer to stock. You have to cut carpet and rear door panels (I bought some used)
Whether you call it a roll bar or cage this RPM is certified for the track.

Just a pet peeve of mine. Like people calling nitrous "NAWS" or "nitros".

From the NHRA book:

Roll bar must be adequately supported or cross-braced to prevent forward or lateral collapse. Rearbraces must beof the same diameter and wall thickness as the rollbar andintersect with the roll bar at a point not more than 5 inches from thetop of the roll bar. Crossbar and rear braces mustbe welded tomain hoop. Sidebar must be included on driver’s side and mustpass the driver at a point midway between the shoulder and elbow. Swing-out sidebar permitted. Any more pics of this one floating around? I would love to see what the A pillar is doing behind the dash.

Raced mine this past Sunday. And also watched a friend race a 14 ZL1 vert with 3 miles on it.

My best was a 12.5. His best was a 12.7 bone stock. With a 1.8 60 foot. I'll get my slip and video up soon.
