That sucks. Beautiful day here and no chance to drive around with the top down.

Im hoping to be in the 1.7 60ft...maybe 1.6 but who knows. Im not sure if it will be that good. And from 12.7 12.8 to hopefully 12 flat. It would be great to hit 11s but im not a expecting that. Really i have no idea lol.

If you were on Nto5R or Mickey Thompsons. I'd say 11s no problem. The stall alone will cut .4-.5 off your times so you should be close.

Just looking ahead regarding weather....looks like cool clear saturday so maybe I have a small chance. It will be my first and last time at the track this year ...i might need a little more seat time. I'm just excited to give it a go. I would really like to run a 6th gen camaro as well.

Someone buy my motorcycle and I can get a lot of new parts to play with!

Here's my list:

-wider wheels
-long tube headers
-high flow cats
-engine & trans tunes
-3200 stall
-some suspension upgrades
-better brakes

Should be a good race. I think unless you spun really bad and can't recover, you're gonna hold him off the 1/4 mile. Like GSJ said, you should be able to get about 3 to 4 cars out from the start. Spinning ain't winning. Make sure to air your tires down to about 22 to start and work down from there. I got my best results running about 18, but those were MT ET Street DR's on a 15 wheel, so different than yours. Just start at around 22 to 24 cold and go from there. Make a mark on the tire and wheel to keep track of tire movement. Good luck!

Good advice thanks. Ya I think I'll start at 20 psi. Gossip told me how to flash the converter and wow did it make a difference trying it on the street. I'm hoping to run some other cars in my weight class as well as the mustang. My trans tune was also adjusted for the stall so I'm wondering how the whole package will work. My wife just told me only 5 sleeps till I go.

One other thing. If your sixty isn't great. Your almost garenteed to be spinning. Lower the air pressure in the drag radials. At this time of year. I'll run 16 psi. Because when you do a burnout. The pressure in your tires increases do to the heat of the burnout. So you may be 16 in the staging lane. But 20psi at the starting line. I'm hoping to see an 11 second ticket when your done.
