The first morning I started it up in the garage my wife called me and was laughing because it was rattling some of the dishes in the cupboard, I grinned all the way to work.

OK, here's the real question on the exhaust: Has anyone pulled the fuse to leave the exhaust open all the time?

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

I haven't, but that was one of the first things the service manager showed me when looking the car over where the fuse location was if I chose to do so. I think the system run stock from the factory is plenty as is IMHO.

I'll shoot a pic tomorrow, but there is a junction box in the right rear tail panel.

I suspect GM has designed it to close from 1000 to 3000 to reduce "drone".... But.. you can always put the fuse back in. I wonder if the factory "tune" would be altered, IE, if you open the exhaust will it alter the fuel/oxygen mix in that rpm range and help/hurt?

It was literally a year before I started using my radio regularly. Nothing beats a great exhaust note for an enthusiast, and I have to say the ZL1 has that in spades.

That is too funny. I noticed this on my car this morning as well. It goes away after a few seconds once the idle on the car changes a bit.

I love this car!
