Tail-Light openings collecting dust?
First off let me say that I can't wait till I have one in my garage.
I have this problem on my 02 vette. I will have just spent all morning washing and waxing it, only to go out on a nice drive and stop and have a nice collection of dust and road grim sitting in and around the tail lights. Question? Has anyone heard of them correcting the problem with the camaro? Assuming there is going to be the same thing because their tails are shaped very closely. Any wind tunnel results? Sure isn't going to stop me from buying, but just was thinking about it.

I highly doubt it. Just by the pure fact that dust and dirt is everywhere, and if there is a raised gap, it sure hell is going to find it.

The way my uncle keeps that from happening in side his garage, is you get that device from sharper image, where it collects all the dust. It really works and keeps the car dusty free. He swears by it, So when i set up my garage, im going install one of those..and i think there is a mini one for the car as well. he just leaves it in over night and it clears all the dust from the cockpit.

It seems like the taillights, from the prototype shots, are going to share similar openings as the 'Vette. Unless they develope some sort of soiler or diffuser in the rear, I can't see that problem going away. I'm not engineer though...

I don't see it as a 'problem' for any automaker to correct, just a design factor that we have to live with

my dads 05 vette collects dust at the lights and im sure this will too. its pretty much the same design. my old t/a collected dust on the bumper like crazy so its either the bumper or the tailights
