The thing is a freaking tank! It weighs in at around 4200 lbs! Forget it! For the price they're asking I'd rather buy a stock 'Vette! The new G8 can take it and it has about 70 less horses! It looks good, they kept it looking like the concept, but I've waited this long for the Camaro, I can wait a little longer. Besides, for 10K less out of my wallet, I'll still be able to every stock Challenger on the road! I'll ride in style in my new !

To me, the Challenger is like most people that were young, trim, and fit back in 1970, add nearly 40 years and its going to have gotten a bit bigger, even though the basic form is still recognizable
Personally, I would buy a Charger over the Challenger. The Charger doesn't really try to hide its bulk. Large and in charge, so to speak. But I'm not considering buying one, except maybe a used one as a family car in a few years.

I think it's ok. But I find it's styling to be extremely bland. It has no interesting angles and planes to it's body like the Camaro. Even the Mustang for all it's dullness has a more interesting look to it than the Challenger.

listen, folks, just because something isn't available right now does NOT mean that it will not be available later on... I can promise you that the SRT8 will eventually be available with a manual transmission and 3.92 gears... I know y'all dont believe me because you read something on the internets, and God knows the internets are the best source for correct information , but you're just going to have to "have faith" and believe that I know what I'm talking about... and since I'm one of the few people on here that is a fan of all American muscle, and not just GM muscle, maybe that adds some credibility to my words.

I think the Challenger looks good, but it's too heavy, to much of a gas hog, to expensive, and seriously needs more colors.

I like
I think it is a cool looking car and they did a good job making it look like the classic. I would buy one, but only to add it to the collection. I would rather find a 70-71 to add, but a new one would do.

I picked the first one mostly because I thought it was funny to read the first thing this morning. Killing the first thing I see is usually not the first thing I think about at six in the morning so I thought it was just funny to read.
IMO, it looks okay, and the idea of a Chally' is okay, but it's execution is not good at all. It's just a hacked-up Charger/300/Magnum. It's still the over-weight pony car from the 70s from wence it began life. Why in the H3LL would I pay from something that weighs several hundred pounds more than the competition, looks like it just fell out of a Hotrod magazine from the 70s, and be a Mopar?... Ick; I'd drive a Mustang before than car. Good idea; poor exectution. At least try Mopar...
