DRL Harness from AAC
I've searched and have not been able to find how this gets installed.
I am planning to buy the DRL and was wonding how hard it is to install the harness. Can anyone point me in the right direction? |

Here is how the AAC harness is installed:
How to install the DRL connectors: *Be sure the car and lights are OFF when you are working on the wiring. 1) Pull back the fender liner, you will need to loosen three #15 hex head screws. 2) Locate the Green Plug going into the Sidemarker. Lock a T-Tap around the + line (Pass side= Brown, Driver side= Purple) you can use pliers to snap into place. 3) Now plug the Connector into the T-Tap: 4) Locate the + Line of the DRL (Bue Wire) and Lock a T-Tap to it. 5) Now connect the other end of the connector completing the connection. 6) Repeat this process on the other side and test. |

So they will be on with the Halos or the regular lights, correct?

The fieldgoal harness allows you to run the DRL bulbs to a switch and turn them on/off whenever you would like. |

PNP as in no wires need to be cut or spliced, you simply plug our unit in line with the factory wiring and land the ground wire and power wire on the shown points in the instructions you get with the harnesses. Takes about 20 minutes to install.

That is correct, at least for when you wire it with the side lights. You need a diode in there so the sides dont come on when your DRL are on. Pretty easy to make.

Jonathan, actually he has two harnesses, the one you described with the switch, and one without, such that teh DRL's are on all the time. Thats the harness I got and love it.
