Now it's more than that, and still not sure about the details. I've got some vendors saying their TR6060 will hold 1200hp. and other says no such TR6060 exists that will hold 1000hp.

I use a th400 with a brake and a gear venders unit= 6speed can handle 2000hp. Perfect for everyday driving or 1/4 mile blasts. The gear venders unit doubles the torque + the twins really plants you in the seat!!

If I had an auto that's probably the way I'd go.
I know someone that went this route with a 4L80E rated for 1000hp. good price too. It's a very fair exchange and from what I hear they're very transparent with their build specifics.
