is there a diffrence between this catch can

It is an empty can. It will catch a small amount of oil and make you feel all warm and fuzzy but the vast majority of the oil vapor will pass straight through because there is not any sort of filtration or baffling system. Catch cans are one of those things where you get what you pay for.

Most cans out there are empty, or designed with little attention to actually trapping all the oil...even a beer can traps as much as these and most:

Buy an RX or Elite. I have a RX and it's great.

Do not buy some junk off-brand.
