Automatic shifting issue...or not?
Anyone else with a V6 automatic feel the sharper shifts at lower RPM's?
Seems like if I accelerate slowly (normally), the car kind of has a hesitation. It doesn't bother me as long as I know this is normal. When I'm cruising over 50 and accelerate, I feel nothing other than more speed. And if I really stomp on it, I hardly feel a thing. Just checking... |

Yes, you should feel the shifts! Actually the more you feel the better! A nice firm shift is actually better/easier on the tranny than a long (basically slipping) smooth shift...

How do you guys use Sport...can you just drive around town with it in Sport and not use the shifters? I kind of like how that feels, but am nervous about driving it around like that. |

took me a minute to figure it out. am doing like 50 miles per hour and a punch it and i get hardly anything.
and using sport mode in town will only use more gas. should really only use it in race type environments, but yes you can drive in sport mode without any issue. |

I can sleep better now. I thought it was normal, but with my car being a pre-production VIN, anything small will get me worrying.
