convertible spoiler question

i am about to pull the trigger on a spoiler and i really dont like half of the ones that are being sold. i seriously think the stock one that somes with the RS and SS cars looks the best.

but will the convertible spoiler fit the coupe? and do you think it will look any good?

The spoiler in the convertible has some sneaky engineering. It's actually got a radio antennae in it, so there's some extra wiring, etc that goes into it. I don't want to say for certain but I'm willing to bet that the bolts don't line up.

The spoiler does fit, you would just need to cut or take out the antenna wires, holes line up, picture is of the Vert spoiler sitting on a coupe.

I've been looking at all the spoilers as well...and I like the vert spoiler the best.

If it lines up without issue....I'm in!

Probably won't be available from GM for a while...that's my guess. I like it too and want one for my coupe. Don't need the antenna part, just want the spoiler.

Wonder why Chevy ran the antennae wires into the spoiler ??? The vert spoiler is very, very nice and I think it would enhance the coupes look.

Would you want a big ugly antenna in addition to the shark fin? In the coupes, it's built into the rear window.

I'm sure it'll look good on the coupe. It really shouldn't look any different than the convertible..it's essentially the same car. I don't think the top being down will change the spoiler look much versus the coupe.

The reason Chevy ran the antennae wire into the spoiler on the vert is cause the intial photos and design of the vert had the XM/OnStar shark fin antennae sitting on the rear deck lid, and alot of people really disliked the way it looked. So, Chevy designed the spoiler to have the antennae wired into the spoiler so they could take away the shark fin.

Shark fin is still there, but the am/fm radio antenna is not there.
