Is $1500 off sticker enough on a 2013 2SS/RS
Like the title states, not including the $500 current offer or any private offers. Strictly $1500 off MSRP. Then I will get the $500 offer and hope to get a private offer as well.
It's on a VR 2013 2SS/RS LS3 coupe with Dual mode exhaust, Hurst shifter, Nav and No sunroof. I know each deal is different and it's what I'm happy with, but I am just asking for opinions from people who might be in the know. |

Do you belong to a credit union? I was able to get some more off because I am. Ask your salesman about it.

I would call a few other dealers and get them bidding against each other. This is a tough economy and they will deal. I was told when I started looking that we dont really discount camaros because they sell to well. In the end I got over 3K off the price of a 2013 1LT + a 1K private offer

Ok guys deal is done. 1500 off sticker, 1000 private offer, they have to go get it about 150 miles away and I got top dollar for my trade. They matched the highest bid that I found online (KBB, NADA, Black Book).I am also getting them to swap my heritage grille. So I'm happy. I'm just used to getting more off sticker.

I was able to go from $43,835 to $40,070 (including $1000 private offer, and $500 off).
Sounds like you did good... |

I just bought a 2ss 1LE for 2600 under sticker without a private offer. If you are satisfied with the deal and its the car you want , I say get it.
Just seen your post..."didnt read down far enough lol" Congrats!!

Invoice or GM preferred? Did the $2600 include any rebates? ($500 cash back or $750 USAA)

Florida must sell cars cheaper. I paid like 36,500 brand new with 2 miles came to 38,000 even out the door.

It had the 500 rebate included. I came out the door (TT&L everything) at 1400 or so under sticker.

Yea, being that it's a 2013 I feel like I made a fair deal. The 1LE was tempting but to get that package along with the other options I wanted was a little steep for me. Also it's an everyday car and the tires would break me! LOL
I got a VR 2SS/RS 6 speed manual with the Hurst shifter, dual mode exhaust, Navigation, trunk mat, SS stitched center console (the dealer they got the car from failed to install the console as a dealer option even though it was on the window sticker, so I just told them to knock $240 of the price of the 1LE front splitter and order that for me. I also got them to discount the price of the splitter before taking the $240 off), No sunroof (I didn't want one because I like the roof lines) Like I said, I am just used to getting more off sticker but I usually buy a model that is already a year old and they are discounted more. To be honest the automatic was driving me nuts with the AFM crap. I know I could have tuned it out but I didn't want to throw away the warranty on a car that only had 9000 miles. It was a excuse for me to step up to the 2013 and the improvements at the same time. |
