Going to buy it first thing in the new year thanks for the input! Anyone know if it's capable of making 800+rwhp with a TVS 2300? Thats my goal.

It will take some cash to get that maggy to 800 rwhp if that is your goal. E85 and you should be able to along with meth I believe. I don't know if you have E85 in your area but I have heard of it being available in Ontario. Either way the car is probably well built but you are buying a modded car so make sure to check everything.

I would take that car in a heartbeat. Davenport does awesome work, and guaranteed if you have any issues with the car that they will take care of things for you. Plus you could always ask Davenport to go over the car before you commit to buying it. That way you would know for sure if it is up to their high standards.

I've had Davenport build me 3 ZL1's. I can emphasize enough the care and quality that goes into every build they do. They first built my 12' ZL1 M6 car which is still the fasted manual ZL1 on C5's category 11 (internal engine mods bolt ons). I sold it only to get a 15' ZL1 with A6 for drag racing. They were given the 15' with less than 350kms on the odometer and removed the engine to build me a fully forged 396 LSA stroker motor for it. Its killing me waiting for spring as the car was finished in October. My wife has a 14' ZL1 A6 with Davenports stage 4 package. It went to Davenport with 800kms on it and now has 14000kms. She drives the car to work, she gets groceries in it, and come Friday night we throw some slicks on It and head for castrol where she runs consistant mid 10 second 1/4 mile times all night. If I was buying a used Davenport car I'd have no hesitation.

I've committed to buying the car. I spoke to Steve @Davenport and he told me to call him when I purchase if I have any questions. Even if I bought one for 22-25k to put the mods this one has would cost me 35-40k. I can't leave a car stock, I got a 2007 Trailblazer SS with a 402 stroker and RPM built tranny that put 430awhp. It's just time for a change and I want to have a car that I actually built at work.

Good to know, when I spoke to Steve he seemed like a very nice guy and willing to help with any questions I had about the car. Going out on a whim and buying it without seeing it lol!

I see where you would think that. But considering the Canadian dollar, if I was to pay 20-25k with same mileage minus the mods I couldn't build a car like this for less than 30-35k in mods. 8k blower, 8k brakes, 2k headers, 5-6k rims/tires, 500 intake plus labor. It doesn't take long to add up, and I know that I wouldn't be able to keep it stock. My buddy just bought a 15 1LE he did kooks 1 7/8, intake and tune and cost him 4K. Bottom line modding a car with the dollar being so bad isn't worth it, it's better to buy one that's already done.

It's not what you buy, it's what you build, I think your numbers are kind of high tho, 8k for a S/C? 2k for headers? Texas speed has 2" long tubes with cats for 700 American, just saying..... but on the other hand it's nice to buy a turn key beast!

Not really considering our dollar. Polished blower is 7800 can't buy it anymore, ARH 1 7/8 2k, you know being a car guy and living north of the border shit adds up real quick. I have almost 20k into my motor and tranny for my trailblazer and that's when our dollar was almost par. Your right about buying a turn key beast, that's why I decided to go this route.
