Temperature display

Hi,
I just bought a 2012 1LT with the C&C kit. The outside temperature display seems to be stuck at 64 degrees. I thought it was broken, but a dashboard picture in the "getting to know your Camaro manual" shows the temperature at 64 degrees, do I need to turn something on to get the display to work?

I can't find anything on iit in the owners manual.

Thanks,

I got a 1LT @ 3 weeks ago and never had to do anything to get it to work.....Now with me saying that word "work" does not mean that it works right. I think it's off a few degrees.

I would visit the dealer. Sounds like something is a miss.

Mine works. At the track yesterday it read 65 even though it was 80 as the car was sitting alot. Once moving on the street it read correctly. Camry is the same way, seems you need to be driving awhlie to have it read right.

The temp display sensors only poll every so often, and do not poll when the car is stopped, because you have all of the heat under the hood that will cause it to be inaccurate.
