Thanks for the guide! I just picked up a OEM set of ZL1 rims and just need to ask, according to the chart 315's are the ones I should run to keep the same height. Is this correct and will they rub? 2013LT1. The 305's would affect the computer settings?

First of all, great thread. I am in the process of purchasing new wheels for my 2010 SS. The car is lowered via coil-overs and can easily be adjusted for proper ride height. The car is used for autocross events 95% of the time and I want to go with 20x11 all around or 20x10.5 in front and 20x11 in the rear so I can put 305's in the front and 315's in the rear. Does anyone have either of the front and rear combinations on their car. My main concerns are getting the proper offsets and clearing the Phadt coil-overs in the front with their weird inverted design. The current 10x9.5 wheels I run up front barely clear the coil-overs, I don't remember the offset but I know it's the bare minimum. I will update this post once I get the wheels and tires.

305/35-20 = 28.4" tall, 10.0-10.5 wheel
315/35-20 = 28.7" tall, 10.5-11.0 wheel

Running 18's on your SS....

Word of warning to those that want to run 18" on their SS. In order for me to run 18's on my SS, I had to shave a little of the rear calipers and also use spacers to clear them. The clearance is about a sheet of paper. The front's clear thanks to the rotors being slightly smaller up front, go figure. You may be able to find some brands that will clear so make sure that you test fit the wheel prior to mounting or purchasing the wheels. I have read that Bogart makes a 17" that will fit the rear, must be a lot different on the inside diameter than my cheap VOX wheels. The Bogarts are very pricey bu gear if you are going to drag race. Hope this helps!

I have the same question...also would the rear 275's be OK on a 10'' wide wheel?

My tires are in great shape, I'd hate to have to ditch them prematurely if/when I get new wheels.

I have a question about offset. I want to go to 20x9 front and 20x10rear on my 11 ss/rs vert. Do the factory offsets have to be increased or decreased with a wider wheel? Cant seem to find a wheel I like with 35mm front and 40mm rear offsets. If I understand correctly, offset will determine the amount of wheel that protrudes from the wheel well, correct?

Correct... the wider the wheel the higher the offset.

So what would be the best, or most common offset for 9 and 10 inch wheels? I've been looking at 20's but might do 22's.

Now that I can't help you with, but I'm sure there are others who can. I relied on a good wheel manufacturer to tell me exact offsets needed

I am running 305's in the from and 315's in the rear of my 2010 SS. I purchased the ZL1 replicas from Phastek. I did have to raise my extremely lowered ride height to get the fronts from rubbing and no issues with the rears. I also had to use spacers in the front for clearance of my aftermarket Phadt coilovers. the stock or other brands may not that that issue since it's a totally different design. I am really happy with the look and the wheels and tires do not stick out. The wheel offset is listed below.

front 20x10 offset 23
rear 20x11 offset 43

1010tires.com has an awesome calculator for offsets that will tell you exactly how much clearance you will gain or lose when changing wheels with different offsets.

Been checking out the 1010 website.....just not sure what the minand max offsets are without causing problems. Still have stock ride height.
