I just wish someone from GM/Chevy (*cough fbodfather *cough) would give us a better idea of when we can see it and when it's going to be available.

At least something better than "by the end of the year".

Yes. Red Jewel is an older color. They're replacing it with a similar color...if memory serves, it's the Crystal Red found on the Corvette.

What I gave you is from the team. I noticed a few people asking and so made a point to ask the source. They kindly obliged - but "available at the end of the calendar year" is the best answer you're going to get.

I get the "available at the end of the calendar year" part....but when can we at least see the new colors and decide if we want to wait until the end of the year?

That, I don't know.

So far, I know the Red Jewel Replacement is the same as the Corvette's tinted red. And the Gray was said to be "richer" than Cyber Gray.

I know that doesn't help a whole lot...But it's September...what's 3.5 more months?

LOL, 3.5 months is a lot considering I got back from another year in Iraq last week and I don't have a car. Right now I'm sharing my Tahoe with my wife and kids and our crazy schedules. The question becomes how long do I wait to see the Gray or do I just order my seond color choice now?

I would just like to see the new gray so I have an idea if its worth me waiting for, you know?

RJT is being replaced by crystal red met.,...due to the pigment in paint needed which was supplied by Japan, and due to the tsunami,...crystal red is a beautiful color,go to a caddy dealer and look at it on a cadillac, same paint,

wait, I just built a 1SS to my specs and I noticed the 20" polished wheels are selectable under exterior. Also, when I click the details for the RS package it says it comes with the midnight silver wheels. Does this mean the polished wheels aren't apart of the RS package anymore and if I want the polished wheels I'll have to pony up the $470?

In the pictures the Imperial Blue Metallic sure looks an awful lot like my Aqua Blue Metallic, but it always has been difficult to get a true sense of the colors without seeing them. And it would be nice if you could get all of the options with all of the colors, but that probably won't ever happen. Fun to look at the new models, but I still feel like I'm getting in a new car and mine is over 2 years old!

Oh well, I'm going to buy CCW wheels anyway. I'll save my $$$ and put it towards those wheels.
