anything you break trying the no lift shift will be covered under warranty. id say use it while you can still get it fixed for free should something break

I've finally gotten the opportunity and the nerve to try NLS and it feels great. Coming out of boost from a normal shift where throttle is cut, the shift is made and throttle is reapplied results in a noticable lag. The car dives and then bucks for a split second. However using NLS feels like an automatic trans shift. No dive, no jolt just a seamless gear change back into the torque curve. It's an amazing feeling. I have tried it at less than WOT but it just seems to burn the clutch reeling back the RPM.

thats awesome. no lift shift only works at WOT, if you lift off the gas even a hair the car comes out of that mode.

No wheel spin? Must be some serious chirping. The weather is slowly improving here, hope to start getting some wheel time, and I'll eventually get up the nerve to give it a try. I've punched it thru the first few gears and had some wheel spin/chirp at 80mph. Can only imagine what the NLS will feel like. Sure sounds like fun! Good for you, happy to hear about your first (and probably not your last) experience with the No Lift Shifting!

I've only tried it from a roll. Down shifted from 3rd to 2nd, rode it up to 6k, NLS to 3rd, rode it up 6k, NLS to 4th enjoyed the moment and eased off.

It's been 80 degrees here so F1:G2's stick to the road like dough.

It doesn't matter when you do it so long as the car is moving and at WOT. It has nothing to do with launching the car.

Just remember to be careful when shifting at 6K as it will still creep into redline around 6200K when going from 1st to second. The last time I tried I did it at around 5500K. The hard part is not lifting your foot as you would normally do. The car does shift seamlessly when done right!
