Cam install estimate
Hi Folks, I'm going to pull the trigger on getting the LG g6x3 installed and got a price from a good shop in the area @ $2300. This is for install and dyno tune and, I'm assuming, the cam kit as well?? It sounds like a very good price but given the cost of the full lg kit and the labor and dyno am I missing something or am I assuming too much? If this is for everything it's a total no brainer.

2.3 for M6 should be good.
Looks like you have all the supporting mods...consider these three mods to help reliability. -Vmax ported throttle body (150 bucks with exchange and they can just do it for you during install...and you mail back your core when you are done). Not for reliability, but great mod for super cheap. -Seriously consider a transmission cooler to help extend the life of your tranny. They usually hover around 100 bucks and well worth it. -Trunnion upgrade kit for your lifters. They come in around 130. My installer is now selling them with all his cam packages... I guess they have issues with the bearings on the arms and when they fail the roller grind down your cam. None of these three are "required", but its a great piece of mind for the cooler and trunnion kit and shouldn't cost you more than 250. Also, you wouldn't pay much more in labor because the block is already being worked on.
