Led wiring help
I'm currently trying to come up with a way to wire in some LED lights I have on the exterior of the car in a way that they come on when:
1.) the key fob is used to lock/unlock the doors and 2.) I would like to be able to manually turn them on via switch for shows, etc. I'm am fairly capable with wiring and can solder and read a diagram. Just can't think of how to go about this one. I'm sure a relay would be required but idk how with LEDs being such low draw. Any help is greatly appreciated! |

Maybe have the parking lights to activate the relay, then have a seperate circuit ran to the LED's that is controlled by a switch. Unless you don't mind your parking lights also being on at the same time as the LED's. If not then then just use them to activate the relay, use the headlight switch to activate the relay. You would likely have to have a switch to keep them from always being on such as going down the road. Just a thought.
