Does he include a warranty?

There's a place in Lincoln that does it. You can find him as a sponsor on starcityracing.com.

There prices aren't bad. I don't know where you live though.

You can choose which quality of tint you want, better costs more obviously. I was going to get their best tint, which if I remember right has the liftetime warranty, not to fade, tear, etc. I haven't gotten it done yet though, so i can't speak for them personally.

Nothing worse than paying 200 dollars for a tint job, get a 2 year warranty, and fades after 2 years. That happened at that place in Columbus by the old, Wal-mart, Zeibart. Shitty tint.

However, If the guy is good and he does a good job with a lifetime warranty, you get what you pay for. If money isn't an issue, maybe you should just get it done there.

I got mine done in Omaha. Place is called auto glass tint. They've done my cars, my brother's cars, and his fiance's. I got their best tint, ceramic based, lifetime warranty, and legal limit for < $200.

The company that I'm considering right now is Pro-Tint by a guy named tony.. He told me that he's stationed all throughout NE I dont know if anyones heard of him, But he's the one that quoted me 299 Just for the Camaro specifically because of its uniquely smaller shaped windows.. Like i mentioned previously its also going to take him 4 hours to complete..

I'm in North Platte z28 I'd probably be willing to travel to Grand Island at the farthest, I dont wanna spend the same amount in Gas as am getting it tinted just to get it cheaper.

You think it would be cheaper because he is using less tint film. I guess if it's a life-time warranty, it might not be a bad choice, and less gas spent. It's up to you.

Most shops charge by the window, not the size of the window.

I've been quoted 180 before on my camaro, it's 3 windows, it's supposed to be easy.

Thats what my first thought was.. The majority of the cost might be labor time?? His time must be precious.

Yes he does. He does nice work, I think he charged a buddy with a IOM Camaro like $150 and it was nice. It is the IOM one with the Yenko stripes on page 1 or 2 of this thread.

The little windows are easy. The back is the hard one, due to the large piece of film they have to use, and the bottom is a bear to reach correctly. I had to go back to my guy twice after they put it on to ensure all the moisture was out, no reason it should take 4 hours though.

Let's revisit the football game day gathering. I have been looking around, but of course there is nothing close to the stadium that doesn't charge an arm and a leg.
We could all meet up at the Lincoln Southwest High parking lot and then ride the shuttle. It is a huge parking lot, but I would gladly volunteer to stay and watch the cars. This would be for the first game on 9/5. It could be a meet, greet, and tailgate Camaro style! Let me know, if we get enough folks interested, I'll coordinate.
Go Big Red!
