Thanks Dave for putting the meet together. It was a blast and an amazing turnout.

Camaro Lover, that is a cool remote front plate mount, thanks for demonstrating it for us!

THANKS GUYS! I had a BLAST! Got to drive "Crango" after you all left too! MADE MY DAY!!!

And I THANK YOU ALL for coming out for it! We had 43 Camaro's sign-in, 4- 4th Gens, 1-3rd Gen, 38-5th Gens! And there were at least 2 more 5th Gens that didn't sign in!

OH, and my pics are uploading to photobucket as we speak, will post late tonight (leaving in a bit, they won't be uploaded by then)... The album will include the show at the Decatur Airport... You'll know the change!

my bad...forgot they reported 101, but I knew he had a birthdate...

Wonder if he got anything special in the mail after he bought his car....

Sorry I missed it Dave, as nice as it was and slow as it was at the dealership (except my phone & email ) - I should have came down!

Scotty... You would have loved to meet him. GM flew him and his nephew to GM headquarters in Detroit. GM execs gave him a wonderful plaque and a Camaro watch which he proudly showed me as well as a few other goodies. He even got to see the Convertible Camaro. He loved it.

This was his first meet and he is looking forward to going to the next one. I will keep him in the loop when we have another meet near him. He said he is comfortable with traveling. He travels to Detroit to visit his niece on occasion.

Yes, it a very rewardind day and a great turnout alsoit was really great meeting and talking to everyone. We did reward Dave for his extra effort by letting him cruise around Clinton in our Camaro before he left town. Can't wait till the next meet. Reminder next Saturday is Twin City Cruise night 5-8:30, open to all cars @ Von Maur's parkinglot. Now I'm off to the drag races in St. Louis early Sunday morning.
Thanks to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, yes you should have!

And if you would have brought a Camaro with ya, you WOULD have won longest distance! It was close with one of the Chicago guys and one of the Indy guys... It was a matter of .9 miles!

THANKS! I'm glad you were able to make it on your Route 66 trip! And TRUST ME! My mind is going 240 right now!

Talked to a few ppl while there and were given hints at other spots that were just as good for more events! I would definitely like to make this an annual type event though. Its just a crazy weekend and week for me to start anything right now... ANOTHER busy day tomorrow, family related, not Camaro related... Nephews bday!! Then finals starting bright and early monday morning...

And here's a link to my album http://s157.photobucket.com/albums/t...%20Car%20Show/

How many cars were at the Decatur show Saturday evening? Did any of the Camaro's drive down? We couldn't make it, had to go to Champaign to visit my father in law in hospital.
No rain and off to the races!

A big big Thanks to Dave_O and Scott Baum for hosting this event! This was the first of I hope of many events the Indy group will attend. It was pleasure meeting all of you and especially Virgil Coffman! The food was great at Teds Garage, and you were great hosts. I attached some pics as well.

Thanks again and hope you are able to come see us in Indy sometime.
There are arrangements being made to attend the 500 Community day and you can drive your Camaro on the track! There will be a pre meet so we can all drive on together.
