We'll, the dealer said they didn't find any codes. Hopefully it never happens again.

Update. The service shop called and said that GM engineers say to replace the computer. I hope they don't have to take my car apart to do that. Does anyone know?

Cel turned out to be cylinder misfires again. P0301 p0304 were some of the codes if I can recall. This issue plauges my cwr now and im stumped on what to do next. I will try replacing the cai dry air filter, just maybe thats the issue??? Its a dry filtwr and ive cleaned it and it looks new but maybe its time for a new filter?

I had the same issues with mine, constant misfire codes. I would always get them with cold starts.

Having the misfires on all cylinders only during cold start. Once in normal run no misfires at all.
Replaced MAF and plugs and check voltages on temp sensor and o2 sensors.

I just got one this morning. I am going to try and get it into the dealer today. I started the car up noticed it was shaking a bit. Saw the CEL come on. Shut it off, started it up again, and then called onstar that is when she did the diagnostic and told me it was a cylinder misfire.

I did a few weeks ago drive the car down to Florida and back, and my commute is 4 miles. I was just wondering if perhaps I have some summer gas in the car that caused the problem. Either way, I'm close to needing an oil change so I'll have that done at the dealer while getting the car looked at.

I have been dealing with flashing CEL 3 days after I purchased my 2013 1LT. I bought the car Oct. 23rd. The engineers have been in the process of writing a program to flash the ECM, and they finally finished writing the program and they flashed it to my car on Monday. I haven't picked up the car yet because the dealer is still working on it to get a rattle fixed. So if you are having issues with flashing CEL, and you car is having random misfires but the car is driving fine and not actually misfiring, there is a program out there to flash the ECM. Hope this helps. When I get the car back I will update with more info around the program that they flashed.

Mine did this too when it got cold. Moisture in the gas was the culprit. Ran a couple tanks of B12 Chemtool through it and no issues since.

Sincere apologies about this and I understand any frustration this causes. You're welcome to send us a message for assistance with setting up an appointment for an official GM diagnosis. At that point, I'll reach out to the dealer's customer care specialist who is the point of contact for resolving customer/vehicle issues at the dealer level.

hello, everyone i just got back from the dealership with my 2011 camaro 3.6 the check engine light came on and i took it to the dealer and it came up with low voltage i left the radar detector on for two days. nothing was said about a misfire im praying i dont have a issue . does the low voltage sound like it would make the check engine light to come on?

GM just released a re-flash for the 2013 v6. I was having a flashing check engine light. It took over 2 months for the engineers to write the program. The service shop flashed the program to my car last week and they have had it for a week testing it out.

I was back to the dealer again last week with the same misfire issues.
Cylinder #'s 3,4 and 5. They did the "Decarbonate Engine" service again, and this time did a "Fuel Injector/Throttle Valve Maintenance Package".
Nice sounding names they have for the services now, I guess that justifies the $400 charges.
So now the total so far is right around $600 for a problem that is out of my control and clearly an engineering issue.
And throw in the car now has a history of problems and the trade in/ resale value has diminished, thanks GM.
My Goat gives me less problems, and that's over 40 years old.
Tell me again how having a computer in a car makes it better.
