Wow talk about raised from the dead lol. I got everything from lowes. PVC pipe was replaced with rubber. I will say I didn't check out the links but guessing they were more than the 10-15 dollars I spent. 2 years and still working.

I don't see any advantage with changing from vararam as it does the same. if I had to do it all over I would go that rout but this is a great way to get similar results however.

I'm thinking about doing something similar to this by just replacing that stock snorkel so it doesn't grab air from behind the headlight, but I'm not too sure on the best place to grab the air without cutting anything up.

This is REALLY old. Nowadays we have scoops available that make this kind of effort unnecessary.

Difference between scoop/washer bottle's?

Scoop for $75? With the relocation kit it's over $100. Don't really feel like putting that much into a simple scoop.

A lot of have gone scoop and love it. It can be done cheaper but not necessarily easier but more efficient in my opinion. . If you want more info pm me. I don't want to make a big deal out of it.
