HOLY BLACK ICE!!!

I know this has been said over and over again but just gotta post it myself...

Got my black iceolator installed a few days ago.

Very simple straight forward job. Back bolts were not nearly the trouble I was expecting.

Test drive...crap your pants best mod yet. Doesnt seem much quicker in a drag race style run but the power band feels much wider and smoother. Grabbing second or third gear coming out of a corner and rolling hard into the throttle she really shines.

Just had to tell my story. Lol

This will really shine on the auto cross. I have fou d that most of the ax is to fast for first gear. I mainly stay in second bog out of some corners but never really hit the rev limited in the straights. I cant wait to play this spring.

Yeah I got an extra manifold I can start polishing on some rainy day. But this has me satisfied for now. I am sure it is benificial in the 1/4 mile none the less. But I couldnt feel a dramatic difference. The newly enlarge powerband is truely the best part for me.

I did my iceolator, ported throttlebody & added the waterbottle relocation & scoop to my CAI at the same time and YEAH it was holy crap all right enough! I had to re-learn how to drive my Camaro while the ECU was re-learning the new mods. I have had a much bigger permagrin ever since.

Yep I find second gear really jumps and the lack of heat to intake manifold really keeps the feel of car consistent after warm up.

I think you would benefit from this mod more than most others here if you are AutoXing that thing.

No hype on any of the VMax/RX products....all are tested and re-tested and the industry standard "up to xxx hp!!!!!!" are not used ever.

For the $ this is probably the most HP increase per$ spent period.
