how does the AFM sound with these when they're fully open? i have a friend with noweeds on his LS3...and when he got his supercharger, oh man did it get a hell of a lot louder!! it sounds like a friggin' harley or something now!

The Nickey Stage II N/A 600hp Camaro picked up almost 10 peak rwhp with open diverters vs closed.

You do get some popping, but they sound awesome!

I skimmed through the 16 pages but didn't really see anything mentioned about horsepower gain..? From what I remember QTP cutouts add 15 HP. This looks like a more elaborate system, and does the virtually the same thing cutouts do so I guess there would be a HP gain?

Go to 4:33

says 18 HP, 23 TQ

Some of the tuners on C5 say that gains with cutouts are non-existant though

But it seems very strange to compare against the "factory exhaust routing". That 90 degree bend will increase the pressure drop a lot and probably decrease the power some, would be more interesting to compare it to an untouched stock setup.

Im assuming you mean the 90 degree in the noweeds.


Before receiving the noweeds diverter I too thought there was a 90 degree bend in the noweeds for the stock exhaust route. This pic proves I was wrong, its just a big cave and there is no 90 degree bend. Should be very close to stock.

Are you guys making perfect straight cuts where the tape is I didnt have room to get it perfect as I was at the wrong angle to cut. I have 1.5 tape with L99 but its 1.5 at the top and 1.25 at the bottom quite an angle I know but I put a clamp over it and it seals it from light. Think Ill have leaks?
