My 1LE the first day

Matte Wrap had tons of issues from transport - removed

Took the hood vents out - re-wrapping in Avery Satin Black next weekend

Please let me know your thoughts wrapped vs no wrap

Some fine looking cars! I have a 2018 Red Hot SS 1LE on order for about 10 days now. I have to come here to get my fix often.

Hood wrap all the way for me. Visually this is what defines a 1LE for me and it looks great. It also eliminates any sun glare so also has a practical side to it.

Edit: congrats to all new 1LE owners!

I absolutely love it!

I was going to post a thread about "de-badgeing" a 1LE by taking off the hood wrap and wrapping/painting the mirrors and lip spoiler body color to make a sleeper.

The HBM color is awesome, I've had several blue cars, but was actually looking at black 1LE's to hide the black accents, make the car more subdued.

If this was to be your track car with extensive use of the PDR I would wrap the hood just for the glare control.

I really like how the hyper blue looks without the wrap. But the green looks better to me with the wrap. So it just depends on the color.

Thanks - I hated how I could never get the matte finish look right. But missed the hood wrap as it is the signature of the model /package

Going to try the satin wrap - hopefully I like it but if not I know I can go back

X2ing this post. Love the hyper blue without the hood wrap, but Krypton (my color of choice) definitely needs the wrap to break up the green.
